City Commissions
All City Meetings are Open Meetings per Chapter 107 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Wickliffe.

Board of Zoning Appeals
The Board of Zoning Appeals hears appeals on decisions made by the Building Commissioner or by any administrative officer on matters relating the Zoning Ordinance; for relief from any order, requirement, decision or determination, including the refusal of permits; and may decide appeals by reversing, or affirming wholly or in part, or modifying such order, requirement, decision or determination.

Cemetery Board
Wickliffe Cemetery is the final resting place of Wickliffe early settlers, veterans from the Mexican War, Civil War, WWI, WWII and notable citizens. Researching cemetery records and preserving their place in history is our mission.

Civil Service Commission
The Civil Service Commission shall provide by rule for the ascertainment of merit and fitness as the basis for appointment and promotion in the service of the City of Wickliffe, as required by the laws of the State of Ohio, and hears appeals from the action of the Mayor in any case of transfer, reduction, or removal.

Environmental Commission
The Environmental Commission shall be charged with the duty of advising the Mayor and Council about ecological problems regarding the City of Wickliffe.

Keep Wickliffe Beautiful Commission
The Keep Wickliffe Beautiful Commission is a volunteer affiliate board comprised of 10 appointed members and a subcommittee of unlimited number.

Parks & Recreation Commission
The Parks and Recreation Commission is charged with the duty of advising the Mayor, Council and Recreation Director as to the development, operation and administration of the public park system.

Planning Commission / Architectural Review Board
The Planning Commission is charged with the duty to advise the Mayor and Council on matters related to the review and approval of all commercial construction and remodeling.
